I used to like getting the organic stuff that Gristedes carries, but the store uses plastic bags in spite of the ban. I was informed the owner prefers to pay the $5000 fine because other customers don't bring their own bags. Well, this longtime customer isn't coming back as long as you carry plastic bags.
